I cannot predict how you will vote in the next election. Your individual vote is, from any scientific standpoint, unpredictable. But I can predict—with remarkable confidence—how millions will vote. This paradox—individual chaos coexisting with collective order—is the foundation of everything in Computational Macrohistory.

The Mathematics of Emergence

Axiom A1 establishes that once you have enough people, their collective behavior follows predictable patterns, even though individual behavior remains unpredictable. This isn’t speculation—it’s the same mathematical principle that allows thermodynamics to emerge from molecular chaos, election polling to achieve ±3% accuracy, and market analysis to identify trends from random trades.
